Content is Constantly Collected

Once the news-interest profile of the NewsBox has been established, our editors begin to see what sources of information would be most useful. This first step of filtering reduces millions of news items to thousands.

Selecting Automatic and Manual Sources

Some sources are automated to continually supply information and these are called RSS or Atom feeds. If you subscribe to the Wall Street Journal's RSS feed of business news, you could spend the entire day reading the stream of entries. The news is current, but only a tiny fraction may pertain to your business.

"Their automation & editors make the content interesting. We get fresh news links weekly." Harry Jones, Heartland Steel

Filtering the Information

Once the Collector function of the News Box is loaded with a company's keywords a series of positive and negative filters review each post-filter item and evaluate it for appropriateness.
