Make Marfa Your Next Landing - A Green Airport

Full Service FBO

West Texas is a clean place to live and fly and Marfa Flights is a "green" airport. Our clear skies make the ideal location for solar power, wind-borne flights and other environment-friendly features.

Every lamp in our office is a compact florescent. Even our office computer has a thermostatic energy-saving fan.

A Good Cross County Place to Stayover - Great Hotels, Restaurants

For those who love to fly with minimum environmental impact we offer glider rentals and glider training. Bring your glider or use one of ours.

We have hosted solar-powered aircraft testing. Plans in 2009 will convert the our office to operate off wind generators with batteries.

Long Runways, Great Facilites

Plan a trip to nearby Big Bend National Park and see how the west looked hundreds of thousands of years ago: vast, unspoiled and uninhabited. Then come back to Marfa for three-star dining and hotels.

Getting here is easy: there is a nav station on the airport and GPS approaches. Call for a rent car. Stop for lunch, and use our crew car.

Our favorite restaurants are Maia's, Jett's at the Paisiamo Hotel, Blue Javalina, and the Cochinal. Anita's is good, too. If you get in late, there's always take-out food at the Town and Country Gas Station.
